At Four Season Treks, we understand that every mountain demands the right gear — and proper preparation is key to a safe, successful, and enjoyable journey. Whether you’re trekking across glaciers or climbing high-altitude peaks, having the correct clothing and equipment makes all the difference.
Based on our decade of experience guiding expeditions in the Karakoram and Himalayan regions, we’ve created a detailed gear checklist to help you prepare. From insulated and moisture-wicking layers to waterproof outerwear, each item plays a role in protecting you against harsh weather conditions. You’ll also need reliable essentials such as a durable backpack, sleeping bag suited for sub-zero temperatures, and a sleeping pad for ground insulation.
