TRIP OVERVIEW

Laila Peak Base Camp Trek Overview

The Laila Peak Base Camp Trek is a beautiful short adventure in the Karakoram Range of Pakistan, taking trekkers into the scenic Hushe Valley near Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. Known for its sharp, needle-like shape, Laila Peak is one of the most iconic and photogenic mountains in Pakistan.

This trek is ideal for travellers who want to experience the beauty of the Karakoram without committing to a long expedition like K2 Base Camp. The journey offers stunning views of Laila Peak, Gondogoro Glacier, Masherbrum, rivers, glaciers, and traditional Balti villages.

The trip usually starts from Islamabad, continues to Skardu, and then follows the route towards Hushe Valley, the main gateway to Laila Peak. The trek is generally moderate to challenging and is best done from June to September.

At Four Season Treks, we provide complete support including transport, accommodation, meals, experienced local guides, porters, permit assistance, and customised itinerary planning. As a local trekking company based in Skardu, we ensure a safe, authentic, and memorable trekking experience in the heart of the Karakoram.

For all these reasons, this charming town, located at two thousand three hundred meters of altitude. The Indus River, along which the city is located, separates the Karakorum mountain range from the Himalayas proper, and from the Indus plain. The monsoon rains barely reach the city, which has a desert climate and a climatology of great contrasts, with temperatures below zero in winter, and considerable heat in summer. Hotel. Meal plan: breakfast.
